Mugello

The Mugello area is located astride the Apennine watershed, having lived for centuries in the shadow and breath of the city of Florence.

Tuscan land rich in history and artistic testimonies and above all a land of different environments, from the rugged beauty of the valleys of the Alto Mugello (or Romagna Toscana) - wild and sparsely populated - to the gentle lines of the open basin dotted with villages of the Mugello. Beautiful and intimate Apennine land, covered on the ridges by the green tide of beech, chestnut and oak woods, cultivated in the valley as arable land like a harmonious mosaic, crossed by the Sieve river, a river that seems to come to life from the large artificial lake of Bilancino.
