The opportunity to unite tourism, history, art, nature, wellness, hospitality and food and wine under one roof arises spontaneously. All this can be realized with the creation of a series of paths (which retrace CAI trails but also other secondary or ordinary roads), interconnected and summable between them.
Itineraries that can last a few hours or even a week (adding the largest) that allow you to appreciate the Mugello in all its facets. Paths that have a purely historical connotation in their drafting, creating a sort of overlapping map of different colors, with which to retrace the roads of old pilgrims, merchants and artisans, popular faith, wars and battles, escapes and discoveries. Paths that, surprisingly, cover the entire Mugello territory, no municipality excluded, and that allow you to understand the various peculiarities. These itineraries, in fact, allow you to walk among the landscape wonders, meet and stop in places of interest and architectural beauty, have through guides (paper and electronic, with in-depth images, films, audio guides) the stories of the protagonists of the era to understand the places and stories that have unfolded there. In addition, you can stop at farms, villages and companies to see the processing of artisan products and taste incredible flavors, the result of Tuscan-Romagna gastronomic contamination and the production of raw materials of absolute level. Cradled in the evening by the hospitality of the Mugello structures, which will be able to meet the various needs of walkers, cyclists or riders and which will make you forget the fatigue of the day, re-appreciating the moments lived.
These routes, as mentioned, are indicated on paper and on technological support (tablet, smartphone, etc.), and can also be saved on your devices in GPX tracks.
